oolong tea is very similar to green tea. Its doubtful that adding tea alone will provide amazing results. It is certainly a good addition, but oolong, green and black tea's will only moderately stimulate your metabolism. Most of which comes from the caffiene content, though EGCG does enhance this effect. Its best used as part of a stack, though for moderate weight loss, with diet and exercise it will help. |

| I would also like to know more about this tea. I recently went tried the celebrity 2-day hoodia juice diet and feel great. I lost 8 lbs in two days but they only recommend that you do it once a month. I need to lose another 40lbs as I am getting married soon. I would love to know more.. please help. |

that 8 lbs was mostly water, probably some muscle and some fat. fad diets are not good for long term real weight loss and generally lead to rebound.
the less muscle you have the lower your metabolic rate. |

I am 38. I have been trying to loose weight for the past three years. What's changed? My metabolism (after 35, not kidding). What have I found that works? Stop trying these pills! They are not being regulated by the FDA, b/c the FDA is overwhelmed with new products constantly coming out. You have no idea what you are putting in your body! I've added pilates (exercise) and yoga. Easy just go on to the internet, and type in either pilates or yoga to find dvd's you can work out to. They are both easier to do if you are overweight then aerobics. Doing weights is also good, only 30 min. per day 3 x per week. Drink lots of water, purified water. Tap water has as much chlorine (which is toxic and your body absorbs it) as a chlorinated pool. Chlorine was used to make mustard gas in World War II, it is a toxic chemical. Why are so many toxins in our food and water and skin care? Because these companies are out to make money, they don't care how healthy you are, or if you are over weight. The FDA only controls things that kill you or can kill you or can cause severe serious illnesses because they have so few people to do their work, they can only focus on the greatest product threats. Toxins in your body cause you to not be able to loose weight. I recommend a cleanse (must do as directed or you might as well not spend the money) DrNatura.com. With the cleanse (recommend the detox and colon cleanse) comes an eye opening DVD that tells you how to loose weight, detox, get healthy. They all go hand and hand. One more thing. I drink a protein shake (I see a nutritionist, and he has his own line) this fills me up till lunch and is quick to fix in the a.m. can mix with soy milk or regular milk- can also add frozen fruit and blend in blender. Also if you eat naturally occuring things a lot, carrot sticks, celery, salads, etc. these are living things, and help you loose weight. THink about it, we were not designed to eat burgers and tons of bread without any natural fiber, which naturally cleans out your colon, and tons of meat, which clogs your colon! We were designed to eat mostly fruit and vegetables and whole grains. Eat meat, just eat less meat, try to stick to chicken (no hormones or antibiotics because this messes up your hormones!! try to get organic fed free range chicken) eat less processed foods, they are full of chemicals (recognize the ingredients? then not natural, chemical, chemicals = weight gain) Avoid sugar, try stevia, a super condensed natural sweetner, (avail. in most healthfood stores)Try the cleanse, get the DVD free and see what I mean. You need to educate yourself.
How are these quick fixes (pills) working for you? How much money have you spent so far in your life? Or on the money you spend to ship products back? This is coming from a person who has tried it all... out the money and out the results until now. Two weeks.. lost five pounds. It's not hard..just takes making some changes in habits... that's all! Nothing changes if nothing changes. Hope this helps someone....
