Have any here experienced weight loss/gain from antidepressants? I’ve been on Paxil and Zoloft, and now I am on Wellbutrin for couple of weeks. I was on Effexor too, the longest, and ended up gaining 20 pounds in a year. My doctor kept telling me to count calories and exercise, so I was practically starving and could never lose!

Yes, I've gained 30 lbs. with antidepressants. I was on Prozac and Celexa. So far my appetite has been less and when I exercise….So far good. Possibly, that might help with weight loss. I too starved myself, until someone told me that Prozac increases the insulin levels and therefore you store more fat. Of course, the doc tells you that it's because you eat too much!
