Hi all. I started weight lifting quite long ago. I usually workout once a day (in the morning) but sometimes do it twice – in the morning and in the evening. Is I’ve recently started with yoga too, I’m wondering is there some rule for scheduling weight lifting and yoga? Should I separate these too or combine them?? Thanks.

It is ok for you to combine them. Many people like to do yoga first, to warm up and stretch the body out, and then do other forms of exercise – like weight lifting. On the other hand, there are people who prefer exactly the opposite. I think that you should try both ways and than do what feels right for you.

I believe yoga can be combined with other exercises. I just think that you should appropriate some time for each. I combine yoga with swimming. I do yoga thrice a week, and swim on the days i'm not scheduled to do yoga.

Hi Lyte. I'm curious to hear what kind of yoga that you do? I am interested in doing more yoga so I want to know what you would recommend. Thanks!
