Weight loss and hypothyroidism, synthroid medication

I take synthroid 150mmg daily. Both my parents are doctors but I could never ask them this actually might worry them I guess. I know when your not eating your metabolism decreases to converse fat or something, but my metabolism without this pill doesnt work anyway. I was just wondering if because I'm taking the pill my metabolism would stay fast is I were to restrict my calorie intake significantly. Also I dont know if taking an extra pill every other day or so would also help boost my metabolism and burn fat? Or if there are any dangerous side effects.

there is a reason your taking 150mmg. Taking more than you are prescribed will make it more difficult to sleep, concentrate. If you take too much synthroid you will become hyperthyroid and have weird heart palpitations, nervousness, insomnia and fatigue.
Try eating properly and creating a regular fitness routine.
