I have had both, banding and a hemorrhoidectomy. The surgeon that did the banding ( 2 years ago) said as soon as I felt well enough. That was only a few days. I had the other operation 4 weeks ago and I will let you know what the surgeon says after my appt May 8.

I have the go ahead for weight training starting 1 month (Monday May 12) after my surgery. As always, gradually resuming any activity after a lay off is key.
