Okay so I had my last period around the end of July and so obviously I'm expecting my next period sometime around now. I was active with my boyfriend however we never had intercourse and after he ejaculated (the semen didn't even touch me) he went to wash it off and I washed my hands. However, This week I noticed a whooooooooole lot of cramping and back pain. I get so paranoid I can't remember if this is a common occurance for me or not. Now my periods are usually a little weird and do have some light bleeding for a while and then SURPRISE! but since I'm paranoid about pregnancy and stuff and after reading the early symptoms and noting that light bleeding can be a sign of implantation I'm kinda concerned. I just started getting this light bleeding (August 24) so I think it may be just a little thing before my actual period. I also have ovarian cysts and I read somewhere that those can spur weird bleeding like this sometimes. Other than the light bleeding or spotting I don't have sore breasts or anything like that. So I'm thinking that I'm just being waaaaaaaay too paranoid for my own good. Oh well...what do ya'll think?

If intercourse did not occur and you both washed you are not pregnant. You are right, ovarian cysts can cause abnormal bleeding. As well, some women experience ovulation bleeding which can be light and mucusy' before their actual period occurs.
