| I have been on the pill for about 3 years now. Last month, I was late on two pills but did not have unprotected sex after i missed the two pills. I got my "period"..which seemed more like brownish discharge..about a week early and it lasted for two whole weeks. This happened to me once before when i was late on my pill(s) so that was expected. although this month...the same thing happened, except i did not miss ANY pills and it happend TWO WEEKS before i was supposed to get my period. i do not think i am pregnant because i have not had any signs of it, i feel great and healthy like i always have except for this weird discharge. I have yet to see what happens next month when i start my new round of pills..but i was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else and if i should be taking this more seriously than i am..thanks. |

| I've gone through this too. I freaked out the first time this happened. I just went through a horrible break up and I strated losing weight dramatically. I just had my period and a week later I had a 2 week period, but then after it was done, my regular peood came as usual. This strange period happened to me a few times because of stress, and once due to forgetting 2 pills. Things turned out to be ok for me afterwards. I am a very anxious person, so I find that any time I get freaked out or stressed out, my body reacts different ways. But if you are really concerned, visit your doctor. It may be an underlying problem with your diet. Plus, if you need reassurance, take an over the counter pregnancy test. I do that every once in a while, just to calm my nerves if I'm a few days late. |
