| Hi, I have problem with my veins (varicosities). They showed after the delivery, so I have been taking Warfarin. Problems occurred when I felt rash, redness, itching, changed secretion occurred, I was diagnosed with candida albicans. What antifungals can a patient use who is already taking warfarin? I would like to get some info on this, just to be certain about the drug I am using. |

| What is true, is that there is an interaction between warfarin and many other medications. There is a strong connection between between antifungals and warfarin because a. fungals enhance the effect of warfarin. This goes especially for medications like Ketoconazol it is used for system fungal conditions. So, you are safe for antifungals that are taken locally, like nistatin. |
