| Hi, in my family, we have obesity and heart conditions as hereditary illnesses. My father had angina pectoris and two heart attacks. I am also over weighted, I have extra kilos but I would like to prevent those conditions from occurring. So, what are cardiac risk factors, what should I be aware of? |

| Each cardio vascular illness has several factors and causes. Among those, there are genetic factors, smoking, over weight, alcohol consummation, not doing exercises, junk food (too much fat and salt), high blood pressure… If you manage to avoid most of these factors, you should avoid heart conditions too. And you should start with getting into shape. |
