What are nadolol tablets?

My grandmother has problem with high blood pressure for years. Recently her doctor changed her usual medication and prescribed to her drug called nadolol. I’ve never heard about this medication and I want to know What are nadolol tablets? My grandmother also would like to know that. So, anybody knows?

Nadolol belongs to group of medications that’s called beta-blockers. It’s used in the treatment of high blood pressure and chest pain. Also Nadolol can be effective when it’s using for migraine headaches. Like any other beta-blocker, Nadolol also may have many side effects. It may impair your thinking or reactions, so be careful if you drive.
