Recently I watched some program on TV about heart diseases. Then I learn a lot of things that I didn’t know before. I was really surprised when I heard that sudden cardiac arrest can also occur without any known cause. I want to know what happen after it. What are risks after sudden cardiac arrest?

Well, survival of sudden cardiac arrest depends on prompt emergency care. Many people die before reaching the hospital. But survivors of cardiac arrest may show signs of brain damage. is the first part of your body to suffer because, unlike other organs, it doesn't have a reserve of oxygen-rich blood.
