Hello! I have tonsillitis and I want to know what some helpful remedies for tonsillitis are. I hope that you will tell me this, because I do not know much about this disease regarding the fact that I have it now for the first time in my life and I am 34 years old. Hello! First of all, I suggest you to visit your doctor and make sure if you have tonsillitis (because could be strep throat, too) and, if you have it, which type is (bacterial or viral). I am sure that your doctor will prescribe you anti inflammatory medicines. Also, if you have bacterial tonsillitis, you will get antibiotics too. Generally speaking, you will need to gargle your throat, take a lot of fluids and rest.
