I need a good advice. My brother has a son who has Borderline Personality Disorder. I informed about this illness and I’m afraid that there is no much hope. But maybe you can tell me what we can do. Tell me, please, What are the treatments for Borderline Personality Disorder? Thank you!

First, you should know that there's no one right treatment to recovery from BPD. Also, treatment can be intense and long term and it usually includes psychotherapy, medications and hospitalization. I heard for new psychosocial treatment called dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). It was developed as an intervention for patients with suicidal behavior. Good luck!
