Hi! I’m desperate. Yesterday I went to doctor and my diagnosis is obstructive sleep apnea. I’m in panic because maybe I will need to go to surgery. I remember that one friend told me once that OSA surgery can be dangerous. Maybe I should try with some other treatments first. What can be done for OSA apart from surgery?

Don’t panic! I had a jaw surgery last year and I’m totally ok now. This surgical procedure is very effective. If you afraid of it, maybe you should try with continuous positive airway pressure. It is the most commonly prescribed treatment for OSA. The advantages of CPAP are that it is very safe and many people like to use it.
