Hi. I’ll be very short because I need strait answer – What is feverblister (is it same as cold sores), what causes it and can feverblisters be spread? Thanks for the info.

Well, since you’re looking for short and clear answer, here is the one from me.
Fever blisters and cold sores are two words for same thing. These are common names for fluid filled blisters that commonly occur on the lips. They are usually very painfuland in many casespain may precede the appearance of the lesion. Fever blisters result when a herpes simplex virus becomes active. When lesions reappear, they usually form in the same location as the previous ones. And, finally, the virus causing fever blisters can spread to other people as well as to your other body.
