Hi! My mother is diabetic for years. She has Type 2 diabetes. I read something about diabetes and I realized that she can get Hyperinsulinemia. I know that Hyperinsulemia means having too much insulin in the bloodstream. But I don’t know what causes hyperinsulinemia. Can somebody tell me that, please? Thanks!
Well, unfortunately, Hyperinsulemia is a common condition in Type 2 diabetes with underlying cause of insulin resistance. It maybe sounds strange but you can be diabetic and still have too much insulin in your body because insulin resistance in Type 2 diabetes makes the body unable to use the insulin in the bloodstream.
