Hi, my mother is suffering from depression for several years. I am witness of her bad moods and situations when she stays in bad for whole day. It is very unpleasant situation so I would like to know what changes brains of depressive people. I hope someone will tell me something about this. Thanx.
Hi, it is not completely clear what is going on in the brain of depressive people but some scientist are agreed that lack of transmitter serotonin is responsible for such behaving of people who are suffering from depression. Also SSRIs which provide more serotonin to the brain are confirming this theory.
