Hip problems are thought to mainly affect the groin and part of the thigh. But, researches show that they affect buttocks, thigh, groin, lower leg, and even very rarely foot, knee. So, if you feel pain in hip area and some other regions it may be all due to hip inflammation. However, pain in lower back is not associated with hip disorders, but with some other rheumatic diseases. Arthritis, bursitis or inflammation of bursa around hip joint can cause severe pain and disabilities. Accidents and overuse of hip are also often underlying cause of these problems.
