Hello, I would like to ask something about my blood tests I did last week. My glucose level is at 110mg/dl. I would like to know how dangerous that is. What disease may cause elevated glucose? My grandfather, ever since he was a kid, suffered from diabetes mellitus. What is the possibility for me to get this illness?

You really do have a very high glucose level and it might point out to diabetes. This is even more probable because there is a family history with this disease. Perhaps you should go to a doctor and do some examination and tests in order to determine if you have that condition. It is a severe illness and must not be taken lightly.
