Hello, this is my first pregnancy, seventh month. Doctors are very worried; they say that the possibility of the premature delivery is very high. And that makes me frightened because I have heard a lot about the sudden infant death syndrome. What increases that risk? Will my baby be ok?

That risk is increased because of the undeveloped lungs. Those lungs happen in children that are prematurely born. The cause is the loss of the special substance which is a protective material in the baby’s lungs. There are some other risks involved too, but this is the most dangerous one because of which those babies are immediately put into the incubator after they are born.
