What involves left ventricular heart failure?

Hello! My mother is suffering from left ventricular heart failure. I am not familiar with medicine field and I want to know what involves left ventricular heart failure. This is very important for me, because if I know I would understand her condition better than I do that now. Thank you!

Hello! I will do my best to explain you this. Ventricular heart failure involves systolic and diastolic heart failure. Systolic heart failure is loosing ability for normal contracting, so heart is not able to pump enough blood to body. Diastolic heart failure is loosing ability for normal relaxing (muscle becomes stiff), so heart cannot pump normally blood.
