Hello, my grandfather is 67 years old and he has just been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. He went for regular medical examination and the blood test showed some problems. And now he has to deal with this condition but we will help him as much as we can. What is chronic lymphocytic leukemia?

Hello, chronic lymphocytic leukemia usually occurs in older people. It is symptomized with accumulation of lymphocytes in blood and bone marrow. It is often followed with the abnormal growth of spleen and lymphatic nodes. Sometimes, if there are no changes and no immediate danger to the patient, the condition is only monitored, without any therapy.
