What is better for heartburn, Pepcid AC or TUMS?

At first I thought it was because of my baby. I had problems with heartburns while I was pregnant. But I had miscarriage. My baby is gone. The symptoms left. It is difficult moment in persons life but we must fight it. I still have heartburns and I must treat them. What is better as a treatment Pepcid AC or TUMS?

I am sorry to hear about your baby but, as you said, life goes on. Those two medications that you have mentioned are both very good in treating heartburn. The difference is that TUMS is an antacid (it means that it neutralize acid), on the other hand Pepcid AC is both antacid and acid reducer. So my choice would be Pepcid AC, but you must make your own.
