Hello, I am 23 years old and I am having problems related to my lower abdomen. I have experienced a lot of pain in that area and after the examination doctor told me that there are some changes on the cervix. He said that I have polyps and chronic inflammation of cervix. He suggested that cervical conization might help here. What is that procedure?

That procedure is actually a removal of all changes on the cervix. This procedure is done when there is no other way to deal with those changes. You are still young and cervical conization will completely heal your cervix and will decrease the risk of some malignity occurrence and will make you more ready for pregnancy.
