What is the best treatment for varicose veins?

Hello! I need a really good advice. My mother has a huge problem with varicose veins. Her condition is getting worse. I really worry. Her doctor told her that some kind of surgery is good solution for her. Can somebody tell me What is the best treatment for varicose veins? Thank you!

If you don't respond to self-help measures, (such as exercising, losing weight, avoiding long periods of standing or sitting) your doctor may advise surgical vein stripping or sclerotherapy or laser surgery. I had a laser surgery two months ago and I’m satisfied. I think that it is the best treatment for varicose veins.
