hi. my age is 18 and i started to have this heart pain for the past 3 days. It usually comes up when i wake up or when i'm about to sleep and lay down. i never had any problems with my heart before. but my heart for the past 3 days has been beating faster and hard then usual. And the pain is not that bad but it keeps me up to the point even if i didnt sleep the last night i still cant fall asleep. as for breathing i don't think the heart problem gave me any breathing problem. i also have mucus in my throat.

as for now i take motrin to relieft my heart pain and it works. but for the medicine to take affect it takes about half an hour and it slows my heart beat down also.

What kind of heart problem do i have?
