What kind of treatment is best for psoriatic arthritis?

My mum has just come from doctor. Her diagnosis is psoriatic arthritis I know that there no cure for people with psoriatic arthritis. But I believe that my mum should treat this illness somehow. What kind of treatment is best for psoriatic arthritis? Please, somebody with experience, tell me that. Thanks!

Doctor can control inflammation in affected joints in order to prevent joint pain and disability. This is usually accomplished with medications and surgery. I think that the most effective medications for psoriatic arthritis are Corticosteroids. Corticosteroids can be taken orally or they can be injected directly into aching joints. They provide almost immediate relief and improve range of motion.
