A study that was conducted recently reveal child’s predisposition to being overweight due to mother’s bad nutrition. Among the studied 12,900 babies in the whole UK, the Scottish were found to have the highest weights.

Researchers who led the study indicated that this situation could be changed if mother paid more attention to what they ate and if they learned more about the balanced diet.

However, genes too do have an important role in determining the child’s weight but the food that came in and activities had much bigger, the researchers reported. They are reported that it is us who need to solve our over-weight problem and not blame it on the genes.

It would be wise if children were thought at schools about the healthy diet, so they would be aware how to keep their weight normal and their health under control.
