Hi,
I've had constant lightheadedness/dizziness for over 10 months now. It's almost always with me and gets worst when i'm more tired and stressed. Also when it's really bad it's hard for me to walk and move my head. Sometimes I hold the sides and back of my head and I walk. I've been to ENT, neurologist, did CT scan, MRI, all negetive. It's really hard for me as i'm sure it's hard for you as well. Question, when you guys drink, does it get better? for me it does. I also feel like it's on my right side of my haed and related to my right ear. Pls write back, thanks Arash

I've had these same symptoms too!

I've been feeling lightheaded nonstop since august when I had what I guess was an anxiety attack because of the dizziness and shaking and stuff. Since that, it's lightheadedness, shortness of breath, random short headaches, and when I walk my legs feel like jello. I've never fainted or fallen over, but it's such a scary feeling.

Blah, I hope people are still reading this, haha. Razz

Wow, this makes me feel better that I have found people who are also experiencing lightheadedness. For a minute, I thought I was going crazy. I get lightheaded DAILY! I always think it is worst case scenario, but it has to be related to STRESS, caffeine intake (not enough water), bad foods, smoking, etc. [/quote]

It is a great relief to know that other people are out there experiencing this, as well. I've gone to the Doctor for my constant lightheadedness, the first time they just checked blood pressure and checked my balance and stuff and pretty much sent me on my way and told me to go see someone at the mental health clinic, for months after, I thought I was just crazy. It's been going on for about 7 months now and I know that it IS something physical. I'm going back to the Doctor on the 28th and to the eye Dr. on the 21st due to the increase of "floaters" in my eyes, I think its related somehow to the dizziness. Well, I hope SOMEONE can find out whats wrong Smile Best of luck to you all.

I found a website that was helpful to me since each persons experience is different from person to person
labryinthitis.org.uk.
that website spoke of a inner ear problem that many people do not know aobut. I found out later in my life after 6 years of suffering from dizziness and what not that this is what I had although I did not have all hte symptoms described. But 10 years have gone by and even thought I suffer lightheadedness still not as often though, I have been able to get passed it all. I also suffered from anxiety and depression due to the situation which in turn on ly made the problem worse. I urge you to be persistent on the issue and dont take no for an answer. Other people see you as healthy and only you truely know what it is that you feel even thought on the outside you look fine. God bless and take care. You are in my prayers.

I had tachycardia 10 days ago and since I'd never had that happen before, I actually went to the hospital via ambulance where by then my heartrate had decreased from 146 (at the time the ambulance got to me) to around 110. They couldn't make a diagnosis so they just called it tachycardia... but it was also accompanied by dizziness, lightheadedness and a feeling of panic. They concluded that the tachycardia may have been caused by an antihistamine I had taken an hour prior but I have not taken that medicine since then and have sense had increases heart rate (not as bad as the first time though), dizziness (mostly when I'm resting) and random moments where my heart skips and a feeling like I'm going to faint comes over me until I calm myself down mentally. It sounds like a panic disorder to me but it's so sudden. I've never had this issue until a little over a week ago. Anyone else have this or know what it is?
i have this it started 3 wekks ago when me and my friends wher smoking some cannabis and ever since that day i have some days whr i cant see very good and i get dizzy and lightheaded nuss .

glad to know i'm not alone with these symptoms. based on tests i've undergone -- mostly to check if i have hyperthyroidism, everything seems to be normal so my doctor said i may be suffering from anxiety attacks again. when i go home next month i think i wanna take that 2d echo thingy. should i take that or an ECG first?
