But ever since I havent even wanted to drive alone, out of fear of hurting someone on the road. I am supposed to be going for thyroid test. It has also had an affect on my appetite. Sometimes Ill be constantly hungry and other times no appetite at all. Also my breathing hasnt been right ever since this started. If anyone wants to talk more about this PLEASE contact me. It also used to improve sometimes as the day got later but now its always bad. dont know what else to do.....

|

| I, too, have been experiencing the same problem - lightheadedness, not really dizzy, panicky because of the lightheadness. I'm a 62 year old female and have never had this happen. I've increased my iron intake and am eating okay. I recently started on a type of hormone replacement therapy via patch. I've also been having major pain in the sciatic area of my right hip and have been taking Davron-N 100 for that, along with physical therapy. Pain has decreased from 10+ to perhaps 3 or 4. I hope someone can perhaps provide some guidance. |

I am a 34 year old woman and have been ill for the past year. I am constantly lightheaded and nearly pass out every day sometimes up to 4 times a day. I have had CT scans, xrays and ecg's but all are negative. I am constantly nausea and vomit almost every day too. I had my first tilt table test a year ago and tested positive to it due to my blood pressure dropping and was put on flourinef, this didn't work for me at all, I went to see another doctor and spent 3 weeks in hospital having tests done, where they discovered I have Hypoglocemia, my blood pressure was also low and had me on 4 midon a day, the highest dosage you can get but they got it hard to raise my bp. Anyway they sent me home from hospital and told me that they thought there was more going on than just low blood pressure and wanted another tilt table test done. One my 2nd Tilt table test i tested possitive again but this time my blood pressure didnt drop but my heart rate droped from 120 to 60. But the doctor didn't want to put a pacemaker in until i went for more tests. I have now been referred to a Falls and Blackout clinic and have undergone another tilt table test which was negative even though I had all the symptoms!! so they sent me away and told me I had to come off all my meds as they aren't working anyways and have to come back for yet another tilt table tests. I am at my wits end, I have no quality of life, i can't work as I am constantly lightheaded and if I don't pass out I feel like I am about to pass out and have to lie down, i feel so exhausted all the time. I am beginning to lose faith, I think about ending it all as I can't live like this much longer but the doctors don't seem to be taking me seriously enough. I can't even go shopping i tried to on a number of occassions but haven't got passed the first aisle when I had to be lifted out of the store. I have had blood tests done, the doctors thought I was anemic as i am so pale but that wasn't the case. I need to get better soon as I want to get on with my life I am housebound and very depressed.
Thank you for listening to my moan. |

I got my CAT scan today and all came back fine . . . post concussion syndrome seems to be my problem combined with anxiety . . . which is no longer there cause I now know I am not walking around with a fatal condition.
Still, these websites don't do much but fuel my anxiety so I'm not gonna be posting much more here unless you wanna contact me for questions . . .

Stay classy and stay positive people . . . cannot stress that enough . . . my negativity had me in such a bad place. Keep the faith. |

I am a 43 yeal old female. I have had a recurring almost constant light headed and sometimes heavy sensation in my head. There are times when it feels like cold water drips on the inside of my head. I have vertigo sometimes with movement. But I don't think the vertigo is causing all of these other head sensastions. At times I feel like I'm gonna pass out. Never have thank God.
I've seen a neurologist, that was a total disappontment. He said I had small blood vessels in my head and only recommend drinking lots of water. My regular doctors say its vertigo, but not sure.
I've had 1 cat scan and 2 mri's all negative. If anybody has suggestions please let me know. I am so scared. I am a single parent and I take care of my disabled mother. I gotta get help from somewhere.
Thanks |

I'm a 31 year old male and had lightheadedness for about 3-4 years now. I was put on a very low dose of Inderal about 3 years ago which eliminated all of my problems. But that medication also had symptoms for me too so i stopped it after about 2 years. I was ok for about 6 months but then it started coming back again.
It's not vertigo or any ear/eye problems or anything like that but related to the cardio/vascular system. I think someone else mentioned it above too, but my cardiologist said it may be due to the blood pressure in or coming out of my head. The problem is that like many others all the tests come back negative including low overall blood pressure.
The last week it has gotten really bad with terrible nausea and the feeling like I'm going to loose consciousness. And coupled with the fact of a heavy almost burning-like sensation in my limbs.
Has anyone else experienced these same symptoms and found the answer? |

| Wow I thought I was going crazy and that I was the only one in the world going through this. I have been lightheaded and dizzy now for almost two months and its constant and wont go away. Its driving me crazy. It just came out of the clear blue. I have been to so many doctors a nerologist, the er about a dozen times. I had stopped driving for a while. I always was afraid I was going to faint behind the wheel. I have been checked for diebetes and it was neg. I am going to and ENT soon. I so worried because no one can tell me whats wrong. That scares the heck out of me. I dont want to be like this forever. It has truly altered my life!! |

I'm 24 and experience exactly the same thing , although i have been experiencing this for 3 years - every single day i am light headed, dizzy, tired. At first, doctors thought it was migraine related so to be safe, i had a CT scan. This came out fine. Doctors then thought i could be diabetic but i have had repeat tests and they have all have come out fine. Doctors then thought i could be hypoglycemic but tests prove that i'm not. I have had my eyes checked and they are fine. Haven't had ears checked but something tells me that it's not that.
Sometimes i feel anxious, other times i feel like i'm always hungry when i have eaten really well. I can feel so down as my energy levels drop so low that sometimes all i want to do is sleep. It's hard when i feel like this at work as i lose the ability to concentrate.
I exercise about 4 or 5 times a week, i eat healthily, i don't smoke, i drink when i go out but not excessively.
It's so frustrating because I have no idea what it is and niether do the doctors i see. I'm glad there are others out there that feel the same way. I thought i was the only one. |
