What remedies are used in parkinson's disease?

I need to know if my brother will have a normal life from now on. He is 50 years old and he has just been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He had some minor tremor problems in the beginning that affected his hands, but the situation is much worse now. What remedies are used in parkinson's disease? Will they help him at all?

Parkinson's disease is a condition for which, unfortunately, there is no cure. And we do not even know why it happens in first place. There are only medications that help in a fight against the symptoms. Those medications combining with therapies are only things that can provide a life that at least resembles the life he had before. I assume that he is already taking L-dopa, maybe Carbidopa, benserazideâ€¦
