What's Hiv Test Like?

Hi. I know many people are not really aware they have AIDS. So, I want to take an AIDS test. I just want to be sure I`m clean. Does anybody know what`s Hiv test like?

Hi. HIV test is aimed to detect HIV antibodies in serum, oral fluid, plasma, dried blood spot or urine. HIV test includes the HIV enzyme immunoassay and the Western blot assay. The window period varies and it can take up to 6 months to test positive. There are also commercially available tests to detect other HIV antigens. I took an AIDS test three weeks ago. They took my blood and I got my results the very next day. It was positive. I feel really depressed right now.
