Hello! I am Samantha and I am 47 years old. Yesterday my cardiologist told me that I need to do angiogram. He scheduled angiogram for next week and he told me that he would explain me than what angiogram is. But, I want to know what I can expect. So, please (if you know) tell me what angiogram is. Thanks!
Hello! As you probably figured out, angiogram is medical exam. This medical test uses X rays for viewing your blood vessels. Before making image of your blood vessels, a physician will inject a liquid (dye) to your body using catheter to your artery or vein (usually in your groin). After this injection, you will be pictured with X rays and it will be established if some of your vessels is blocked or are there some other problems with vessels.
