What's causing my chronic soar throat

Hi, I'm 19 years old and I have a problem with my throat. It is bugging me a lot lately, it is constantly inflamed and soar. Three months ago I hade a nasty flu, that I treated with vitamins, aspirins and paracetamol, I didn’t go to the doctor since I thought it was nothing serious, and it did heal for a while but it keeps coming back every time when the weather gets a little colder and it hurts a lot. What should i do about it and could it be something more than just a sore throat?

I just have to mention that if you have the flu, Antibiotics won't do a thing. The flu is a VIRUS, antibiotics are for bacterial infections.
