Hello! My mother suffers from arthritis. She goes regularly to her doctor and takes all the medicines he prescribes. But, I have noticed that sometimes even the medicines she uses can’t help her in relieving her pain. The pain is especially intensive in the evening and during the night and she sometimes can’t sleep because of it. What's the best way to treat arthritis pain?

Hello! Well, you have to take her pain very seriously and ask her doctor to engage different specialists in creating her treatment schedule. Usually a team of specialists include rheumatologists, physical therapists, orthopedists and occupational therapists. You should know that there is no single treatment that applies to everyone with arthritis, but the team of specialists will develop a management plan designed to minimize the pain and improve the function of joints. Treatment usually involves anti-inflammatory pain relievers, exercises and diet.
