My mother went to see her doctor this morning and he told to her that she needs to go to do cardiac stress test. I’m very surprise why she needs to do it. I didn’t know that she has any problem with her heart. Tell me what's the purpose of cardiac stress test?

It can show if there is a lack of blood supply through the arteries that go to the heart. Also taking this test can help your doctor know the kind and level of exercise that’s right for you.
