Hi, I have friend on college who always tells us incredible stories. If I would have to describe him, I would have much to say. He is 22 years old pilot, who worked in Africa in the special units, before he went to Hollywood to start his carrier and dumped Natalie Portman. It seams that he really believes in that. What is wrong with pathological liars?

Hi, pathological liars always have dramatic and unrealistic stories. They don’t lie with any other purpose but to impress the other people. They lies often have obvious flaws, so it’s not hard to recognize a pathological liar when you spend time with him/her. The interesting thing is that they often believe in their lies, at least while their telling them. Sometimes, their problems are psychological, like low self-esteem, but there are cases of pathological liars who have physical problems in their brain. If your friend is not aware of his problem, someone should talk to him and help him. He should be advised to seek for medical help. The earlier the treatment begins, the better chances will your friend have for recovery.
