I was prescribed with Mylanta, and I suppose that it was because of my hiatus hernia. This is my first health problem ever, except some common cold which I cured by myself. That is why I need some tips about all this. My first question is if someone has already used this medication? And if someone did, what should I know if currently taking Mylanta?

Mylanta is used as an antacid which means that it suppose to decrease acid level in your stomach. It is used to treat ulcer, hiatus hernia and gastritis. I used it myself for gastritis. You should know that Mylanta should be used with precaution if you are pregnant or plan to be, if you have some food or drugs allergies, if you are using some other drugs.
You need to inform your doctor if any of this is present at the time you take Mylanta.
