I have stomach cancer. For a long time I had stomach issues, doctor first thought I had an ulcer, but later, it was found to be a cancer. Now I am going to radiotherapy and it is a help for me. Vomiting was something standard for me until I started taking granisetron IV while in hospital. What should I watch for while taking Granisetron?

That drug has anti emetic effect. Its mechanism is based on blocking serotonin receptors (5 HT 3 class). Since these receptors are present both in the brain and intestines, constipation might happen, but you should not be alarmed because of that. There are not many other side effects, perhaps headache might occur.
