What to do when antibiotics not helping abscess tooth pain?

Hi, guys. I have a tooth abscess. Doctor prescribed me antibiotics, but it seems that they don’t help me anymore. My pain is getting stronger. I wonder what to do now. Can anyone help me with this? This pain interferes with my everyday life. I hope someone will have a good suggestion.

Hello, there. I doubt that your doctor only gave you antibiotics. He must’ve suggested you to visit a dentist. Seeing a dentist should resolve your problem. He will drain your tooth abscess. Antibiotics are only given to prevent a more serious bacterial infection. A dentist should also prescribe you some painkillers. You should go there before infection spreads or before it gets too late to save your tooth. I hope everything will be all right. Bye!
