Hello, my grandfather is 77 years old and he has serious heart problems. I guess these are all a result of his way of living. He always had some minor heart issues, but he neglected that and at one moment it got very ugly and we wended up at the doctor’s. What treatment is best for congestive heart failure?

From non medicament like rest and removing all those factors that lead to his problem and all the way to the medicaments like diuretics, Digitalis, beta blockers, meds for hypertension, anticoagulants, antirhythmics. Some of these treatments will be used, depending on the type and the state of his condition.
