Hi there. I’ve heard of partial hearing loss just recently, when doctors told me that my father has it. I know all the symptoms but I wanted to know what types of partial hearing loss are known? Which one is most common? Thank you in advance for your time.
Hearing loss refers to reduced hearing ans sometimes people who are hard of hearing are unaware of their partial hearing loss. Because hearing loss can be partial or complete there are two main types of hearing loss-conductive hearing loss and sensory neural hearing loss. Conductive hearing loss can be temporary or permanent and mostly it is result of something simple like earwax or an ear infection. Sensory neural hearing loss is more common and it is most often age-related hearing loss.
