Hi. My child suffers from ADD and he is on the treatment (med, psychological, social and educational treatment) for 2 months now. So far, I see no results. When do you see improvement with ADD Meds?

Hi. My kid suffers from ADHD and bipolar disorder and he is taking Strattera. I have noticed significant improvement in ADHD symptoms after 20 weeks of treatment. I hope this improvement will continue. Some recent studies have shown Strattera is very effective and safe for children with ADHD and bipolar disorder. You didn`t say what med your child is taking. Two months of treatment is not enough to make any conclusion. It is important that your child has no serious side effects, due to med treatment, such as allergic reactions, hallucinations, confusion, etc.
