When do you stop ADD treatment?

Both of my kids are on ADD treatment. Soon will be school break and I was thinking to cut the meds during this time. I don’t know if other parents do this? When do you stop ADD treatment, if you do?

Each year as summer approaches, I have mixed feelings whether to stop ADD treatment and let him enjoy the long summer days. However, I haven’t done that. I am afraid that he would annoy his friend and sibling even more than he did during the school year.

When do you stop ADD treatment?
