Posted: 06/23/06 - 14:35 Post subject: When should I take a pregnancy test?
I've been a pill user for 7 years. Recently went off of it for one month & have been back on for 2 months now. I had sex without a condom on 6/13 and was due to start my period yesterday, 6/22 (so 9 days later). Yesterday, I experienced some light spotting, which has continued into today. My normal periods are fairly heavy. I'm wondering whether this is implantation bleeding (as 10 days seems to be about right according to my research) -- and when I can take a pregnancy test and expect to get a fairly accurate result (seeing as though I'm not sure if this counts as a missed period)? Any help would be appreciated.
