Which HBP medicine have no side effect?

Hi. I am 52 years old and I suffer from high blood pressure. For it I am taking Metoprolol XL, but as other drugs for high blood pressure, it has side effects. I would like to know if there is a drug that don’t have any side effect that I could use. If you know anything on this, please tell me.

I have used almost all drugs for high blood pressure that are on the market. It is so anoying. I hate them all. All of those meds was giving me side effects. I used Diltaizem, lisinopril, used verapamil, toprol xl which was the worst of all, (they can cause glucose & cholesterol to rise). Now I am using this new one. It is called clonidine. And the only side effect so far is sleepiness. And since one of my other side effects with other drugs was insomnia, I really don’t mind. I believe this is a good one. But, every drug is different for each user. Good luck with the search.
