I have tried almost all downers, well, all that I know and that could be attained in these parts. What can I say, Im hooked to that relax feeling you get from them. Anyway, I am not afraid of possible side effects; I like to play smart, at least two weeks between the sessions and always with someone so that I would have help if something goes wrong. Still, extra precautions cannot do harm. So I would like to know, which downers dont cause respiratory depression?

All downers (codeine being my favorite) have several side effects that might make one question the worth of euphoria experienced while under the effect of it. We have nausea, confusion, sedation, unconsciousness, constipation, drowsiness and respiratory depression and finally, addiction. As for respiratory problems, all I know that it is a possible side effect of many downers, if not all. But I take codeine because I have been told that the risk of having analgesia and breathing problems is smaller than with other downers.
