Which medications are effective for hay fever?

Hi, my son is 8 years old and it looks like the poor kid is suffering from some allergy. We went to a doctor and he confirmed my suspicions. He has hey fever and now he will have to take some medications for it, corticosteroids. Which ones are effective for hay fever? Do you know?

I have been using corticosteroids for almost my entire life and even though I must admit that quality of my life is not 100% percent, but it is close and that is good. Corticosteroids will help your son and he will apply them locally, which means that side effects will not be spread throughout his organism (corticosteroids are indeed strong drugs).
