Hi, folks. I am having some arrhythmias and I suffer from heart insufficiency as well. My doctor recommended me to take Lanoxin or Amiodarone. I would really appreciate if anyone could tell me which medicine works better. I would really appreciate this. Thank you in advance for all your help with answering.

Hello. Amiodarone is used as anti-arrhythmic while Lanoxin is digoxin. Lanoxin belongs to a group of cardiac glycosides. As far as I know, Lanoxin shows fewer side effects. These are serious medications and you shouldn’t take them on your own. You should consult a cardiologist about this. I would appreciate if you told me his opinion. I hope everything will be all right. Good luck! Bye!
