tonsil stones are healthy

misunderstood like plaque

plaque is your body's way of attempting to re-generate teeth

tonsil stones are nutrient dense

healthy eating is the best solution to all of this

chew your food well

the worst symptom to all of this is bad breath

try to avoid using too much mouthwash

I've noticed that I have had the samething going on with my tonsils too. The only way I have found to work was eating healthier with exercise and using Q-tips to scoop the white particles out. Sometimes I will dip the Q-tip in mouthwash and GENTLY scoop the stuff out.
I was told also that I should get my tonsils removed but I won't! I already had my adinoids taken out. The doctors didn't take my tonsils out because they said they were fine. Guess they should of anyways. I get throat infections very often and I am very clean. I have had a form of Strep throat since Tuesday that I have caught from a kid.

Ok well I've got a prob, I'm use to tonsil stones b/c my tonsils have been mesed up since I was a child. But today I noticed this weird feeling like sumthin was stuck in my throat, I got home after school and looked and it was sumthin white, well I thought, tonsil stone ya know, so I got sum tweezers and pulled it out, but it looked to me like skin, and so I was like, nah that aint what it is, but then I look at where I pulled it off and its bleeding, so I mess around on my tonsils and its like part of my tonsil and theres a similar spot on my other tonsil...neone got a clue whats the prob, cuz it kinda has me worried.

I have been having the same thing for the past few years now, and i can't get rid of them. Just recently, i had a huge fever and was very ill and my throught really hurt. i looked at my tonsils and there were "stones" everywhere, and i dont really know what to do. My fever is gone, but my throught really hurts and i can't talk very easily.

hi, it sounds as though you were suffering from a bacterial infection called tonsillitis due to the description of the infected tonsills and the fever you had. As a rule antibiotics would have been prescribed for an acute case, however if there is no infection present now, this would be unlikely. The sore throat should resolve over the next few days, just make sure you take on plenty of fluids. If the temp returns or you continue to feel unwell, then see your doctor, hope this helps

I 've never saw anything stuck to my tonsils but 2 times before I was choking and I coughed up some white almost small ball material. Could this be the tonsil stone that everyone is talking bout or something else.

hey glad im not the only one with this stupid issue! but its the real deal and its very painful at times but most of all annoying. and yes the tonsils bleeding just does not feel like it should be normal. this smell is horrid and constantly feels like there is something stuck in your throat. all the throwing up i do from this has now become an issue to my immune system and stomatch. once i start, i dont stop. i would love to have my tonsils removed to start there and see if that helps because you can only dig them out on your own for so long. i dont want my throat to be messed up in the long run from scratching my throat or something else to happen permanantly. i rinse with warm salt water and mouthwash but is only getting worse and bigger chunks are setting in. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the easiest way for me to remove those ugly tonsil stones is by very carefully using a tweezer and pulling to remove the stones. Although, this is a successful method for me, my tonsil(my left tonsil only) is rather large and the crypt is very open. Hope this works for you.
